Joint M.S. and M.B.A. Degree Program

The joint M.S. and M.B.A. degree program offered by the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Columbia Business School train students interested in combining business and engineering careers. This option is available for students in the Industrial Engineering program.

Admission for the combined program requires filling out separate applications from both schools, meeting the requirements of both schools. Students in the program will have advisers assigned from both schools. Admissions requirements are the same as those for the regular M.S. programs and for the M.B.A.

The joint degrees can be obtained after five terms of full time study. The joint program requirements are as follows:

M.S in Industrial Engineering & M.B.A 

  • 30 points of residence in Columbia Engineering and 45 points of residence in Columbia Business School.
