Shi Yee Lee

Shi Yee joined the Columbia University IEOR Department in the spring of 2010 as the IEOR Finance Manager. She currently serves as the IEOR Department’s Director leading the three functional areas comprised of Finance and Administration, Academic and Student Affairs, and Career Development and Placement. On an operational level, she also has dual responsibility over the Finance and Administration functional team inclusive of all accounting, controlling, reporting, strategic planning, general HR operations, grants, and department appointments related to faculty, staff, and students.  Shi Yee’s well-rounded viewpoint of the academic industry is an integral part of the IEOR Department achieving its ultimate goal of ensuring student success.

Shi Yee possesses a wealth of diverse and valuable project management, finance, investment banking, accounting, technology and banking operations experience. Prior to joining Columbia University, she worked in various roles within the finance industry, both domestically and internationally, which has been a great asset to the IEOR Department.
